About Steffi's Confections
Steffi's Confections was founded by Stephanie Lyman in Colorado Springs in 2014. Stephanie is a longtime local pastry chef and confectioner. Her love of baking was ingrained in her from a very young age. She grew up in Casper, Wyoming, learning to cook and bake alongside her mother and grandmother.
Her passion grew into an art form that she further developed in cooking classes in high school and while working at a local family-owned candy store, Donell's Candies. She went on to study hospitality at Casper College and take many courses at The Wilton School of Cake Decorating. Later, she excelled at the French Pastry School in Chicago, Illinois, while also working at the Union League Club. In the ensuing years these studies opened the pathway to all sorts of adventures that combined her love of baking and cooking and serving the people of the community.

After years of baking, she rediscovered her immense joy in candy making, and developed her specialty caramel recipe. From the original sea salt and vanilla bean caramels, it has expanded into a variety of other flavors, along with caramel corn, enumerable cookies, and a variety of chocolates. Her popularity stems from her new and unique ideas combined, with current trends while maintaining old fashioned goodness, just like grandma used to make, but better!
